COMMUNITY CAUSES:

All the ducks were lined up in a row to see who would be the first one to the finish line. It was a great community day and event organised by the Rotary club of Burleigh Heads and helped by many other community organisations and supporters. These included the very enthusiastic Kokoda Youth Challenge kids herding the ducks, Currumbin RSL hosting the event outside its premises, local councillors, and everyone that sponsored a duck.

The funds went to the amazing work some of the local organisations do to support victims of domestic violence.

A great way to connect with your community is through events like these and clubs like Rotary. For more about Rotary Burleigh Heads, burleighheadsrotary.com.au
