The Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club has been around for 100 years and celebrated in style. The annual fundraising lunch featured special guest Olympian Alexandra Clarke, Bianca Dye as emcee, and a fashion show hosted by Debbie Miller featuring the latest fashion from C Water Classics, and Barr Body Swim.

The Spring Long Lunch
JW Marriott, Surfers Paradise

The spring social calendar was kicked off in style with a vibrant and colourful celebration of community and fashion set amongst the beautiful surroundings of the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Surfers Paradise.
The lunch raised $10,700 for charity going to the Gold Coast Community Fund, while being treated to live entertainment and fashion by Sonia Stradiotto Couture. These events are made possible through the help of generous sponsors like Heart Surgery Gold Coast, Gold Coast Panache Magazine, and 5th Avenue Jewellers.

LIVIN Concert Fundraiser
The Lyrical, Jackson Dunn, and Tokyo Beef joined forces at Mo's Desert Clubhouse to raise funds and awareness for Livin. A great turnout and event in a new creative space in Burleigh Heads. Here are some of the highlights and information about www.livin.org.au

Pedal Against Child Abuse
Local Endurance athlete Damien Rider rode 260 km from Noosa to Surfers Paradise on a 100 kg Rickshaw as the first of 3 challenges to raise awareness against child abuse. We were there at the finish line to congratulate him and get his thoughts.
This event was apart of Child Abuse Awareness Week which went from 1st - 8th January raising awareness of all the issues around child abuse which affects 1 in 5 globally.
